Life is a marathon when raising triplets

We've been back in Texas now for almost 4 months.  We are all happy and adjusting well and yet we are also so busy during the week at times it feels like I am running a marathon!

Since Steve works in Illinois during the week, I am a "single mom" to Brooks, Reese and Sloane....taking them to gymnastics, dance, karate and soccer and softball practice as well as 1st grade homework times 3, etc.

My babies are growing up too fast!  It's hard to believe that they started 1st grade last week.  

This will be the first school year Brooks, Reese and Sloane have their own teachers.

I know it will be a big year for all 3 of them!

The first week of 1st grade was a success! 

Dillard's Back to School Fashion Show

Brooks, Reese and Sloane were asked to participate in a Dillard's Back to School Fashion Show.

I had no idea how long it would take to make wardrobe choices!

Finally after many outfit changes and arguing about "I want to wear something different", etc Brooks, Reese and Sloane finally completed their looks for the fashion show...

1st Circus!

Recently we took Brooks, Reese and Sloane to their 1st Circus!  

They were very excited to see all of the animals as well as the performers.

Before the circus, we were able to see some of the animals and meet clowns and performers.

The commentary during the circus was priceless...."Wow"...."How do they do that?".... "Look at that"..."Did you see that Mommy?"

Needless to say Brooks, Reese and Sloane were very focused on the show and never bored!

On the drive home from the circus I asked what they liked about the circus....all three responded "Everything Mommy".

A busy summer!

It has been a busy summer since we moved back to Texas in June!

We have been catching up with friends as well as swimming and attending camps.

We are so happy to be back!

Life is an adventure...

Our lives have been a whirlwind over the past 6 weeks, thus I have not had time to update our family blog!  Brooks, Reese and Sloane finished Kindergarten, then soccer and baseball season ended as well as the girls' dance recital and their last Daisy meeting of the year.  Then we packed up for our vacation to the beach.

Things have been crazy but I wouldn't have it any other way!
