First day of preschool!!

Well, this year Mommy and the trio went off to their first day of school.
Today was my first day teaching in the 3 year old's class at the preschool.
I have not worked (for money that is) since I gave birth to the trio on January 10, 2007!

Needless to say, we just made it on time. I was able to capture one picture before sending them off to their classroom and starting the day with my students.

This year, they were able to carry their own lunch bags......they are so big!

Sunday after church, our Sunday School class decided to go to lunch...with all of our children! We were a sight! We ate at Babe's in downtown Carrollton.

A couple of end of summer play dates

Last week, we hosted a play date in our backyard and attended a play date at a public park.
Here is Reese with one of my twin mom friends, Luisa. She is cutting up an apple for Reese..... Some twin friends: Sydney and Madison!

A day at the Dallas Children's Museum

What an awesome family day we had at the Dallas Children's Museum! There were so many things to see and do....
Brooks, Reese and Sloane were entertained for almost 3 hours!

Here they are playing with a machine that gives off different sound pitches and speeds. At one point, they were all jumping up and down and giggling. Fun in the water table!

Sloane and Reese are driving the fire truck! All 3 of them are obsessed with fire trucks. We live down the street from a fire station and every time they hear a siren....they will say "Listen...fire truck!"

The museum was a wonderful experience. Brooks, Reese and Sloane were so excited and curious...we will be making another trip very soon!

NICU reunion 2009 & potty practice

So, I am not quite ready to officially potty train the trio...after all, it will be quite a task! I have been advised by other triplet moms to train one at a time...so...here is Reese giving it a try:

Brooks decided to join Reese on this particular day. Normally he has NO INTEREST in the potty! Oh well...they say boys take longer! :)

This past weekend, we attended the NICU reunion at Medical Center of Plano. This is an annual event where we get to go back and see the doctors and nurses who took care of our babies in the NICU. They also take a FREE family photo. Unfortunately, when we got settled on the bench to take our picture...out comes Blue from Blue's Clues. Not good....the trio went crazy so we had to abort the family photo at that time.

Are you ready for some baseball??

Our Mothers' of Multiples Group attended a family night at the local baseball park last Friday night.

We took the trio last year but they were WAY too young (18 months)...but this year was much better! After the stress of getting settled into our seats ( and after numerous meltdowns...etc.) We actually were able to watch some baseball!

My camera battery died before the end of the game, but I did manage to get a few shots. We did not last in our seats, so we moved to the outfield lawn......I love this picture of Steve with the trio:

Well, it has been hot in Texas (big shocker) so I opted into taking the Trio to a splash park today as opposed to the Zoo!
The Zoo is half price this week....but just not worth the heat! ugh!
