1st week of Pre K and soccer games

This week Brooks, Reese and Sloane attended their first week of Pre K. They have been asking about school for about the past 6 weeks so needless to say they were excited!

This year, they are in the afternoon class. On the first day of school, they were very worried that we were going to be late to school because we did not leave right after breakfast.

Reese pushing again! Much more aggressive than last year!

Brooks was on fire ...scoring a goal in the first 5 seconds of his game! His team is the Lil Rascals...
Brooks plays on a co-ed team. Here he is with his 2 girlfriends!
The girls "fighting" over Brooks....literally pulling him back and forth! He does not look very happy.....

Go Brooks!

The girls' game was on another field at the same time as Brooks' game......he was so excited to tell us that he scored 8 goals!

Brooks, Reese and Sloane have grown so much since this time last year. They are more independent and skilled at their school activities and soccer games. What a difference a year can make!

Ninja the Bunny

A friend of mine has a cute bunny named Ninja. She was kind enough to allow Brooks, Reese and Sloane to visit and play with Ninja after a photo shoot at her house.
Here are Brooks and Sloane feeding Ninja some lettuce...
Reese and Sloane looking into the cage...

They could not stop talking about the bunny! Luckily they have not asked to get a bunny....yet!
I was amazed how gentle they were with Ninja and how he just laid there like a baby...too cute!

Cooking!

Brooks, Reese and Sloane have become very interested in what I am cooking when I am in the kitchen.
Recently they have asked if they could help so I have been showing them how to use the different utensils...

We love to cook!

Brooks' imagination

Brooks makes me laugh everyday! He loves to role play and use his imagination.
Here's "Cowboy Brooks"...
My little handsome man...
Brooks also love the build "bad guy" castles.
Here is one of his recent creations....very detailed. You can almost see the wheels turning in his head as he places each piece....Brooks is always deep in thought when he builds his castles.
I think he may be a future architect!

Dance class

The girls have started another year of dance class.
They are very excited because this year they are taking ballet and tap dance!
I took Reese and Sloane to the dance store to get fitted for their ballet and tap shoes. The girls were in Heaven!

Here they are just before dance class:

Brooks decided he wanted to be a part of the pictures and wanted to include Avery, our dog.

Three busy little people

It seems like we have been on the go the entire summer. I have found if I do not keep Brooks, Reese and Sloane busy they will fight and argue with each other.
Therefore, every day we leave the house for an activity or a trip to the store.

One of their favorite activities is visiting the local frozen yogurt shop.
Brooks really loves frozen yogurt. As you can see he is attempting to get every last drop from his bowl.
The yogurt shop is very close to our house. Every now and then we will treat the trio to some frozen yogurt....notice that Reese is eating a sucker because she does not like frozen yogurt.
We have been so busy this summer that we have not had time to take Brooks in for a hair cut. One night before going to the frozen yogurt shop we stopped in for a hair cut....
Reese, Brooks and Sloane playing with their friend Lucas...
Brooks LOVES anything sweet....including cookies! He enjoyed this cookie while shopping at Costco.
This photo makes me laugh! We were driving to a friend's birthday party and at one point all 3 of them were asleep. It sure was fun trying to wake all of them up when we arrived at the party.
We love shopping at Costco!
Now that they are 4 years old, Brooks, Reese and Sloane are very interested in dress up and pretend play. Here is my little man...
Playing in the backyard....Sloane organized all of the ducks in a line!
Brooks loves ranch! I will eat it with everything....and even lick it off of his plate!
