Summer fun has begun!

It is not even the month of June and we have already been busy having fun outdoors. Last weekend, we went swimming for the 1st time since last summer. Brooks, Reese and Sloane did not waste any time jumping into the water.
Reese was not as anxious at the other two.... Sloane LOVES the water!

Brooks...

The trio also liked the fountain!

This week, I took the trio out to Grisham Farm. They have an incredible variety of animals to view and touch, as well as animals to feed. Here are Reese and Sloane sitting outside of the barn:

Sloane...

Feeding the sheep and goats!
The animals were jumping on the fence! Sloane was not afraid...

Lizard!

Bearded Dragon...

The trio could not wait for the next animal to come out!

Baby pig....

We have been spending the days outside playing on our new playground and splashing with our water tables. I captured Sloane striking a pose!

Horses!

I took Brooks, Reese and Sloane to a local horse farm last week one day after school. This was not their first time to see horses, so I thought they would love it!

Here we are just before: (L-R) Reese, Brooks and Sloane
The girls checking out the ponies
Brooks LOVED riding! He even said "whee" and "giddy up" a few times...

Sloane also loved riding the horses...

Sadly, Reese would not ride a horse...

My friend, Betsy, was their with her twins. She was kind enough to snap this picture of us:

Mother's Day Weekend: Texas Rangers baseball game!

Over Mother's Day weekend, we took Brooks, Reese and Sloane to their 1st Texas Rangers baseball game. Our friends, Melanie and Garrett Davis, brought their twin girls, Madison and Sydney. Here we are: Reese, Sloane and Brooks waiting for the game to begin!

Eating snacks before the game....

Go Rangers!

The girls had a small fashion show to try on some of their swim suits for the summer...

On Mother's Day morning, the Trio could not wait for me to open my gift. I had just gotten out of the shower (thus the robe) and they were standing there with a box....
A gift card for a massage! Yea!

Steve left a love note written in sidewalk chalk...

Fun times!

Brooks, Reese and Sloane are doing some cute things these days!
They make me laugh at the things they say and do...
Here is Brooks wearing Mommy's shoes! Strike a pose!
Reese drew this picture...all by herself! I think she is a future artist...

The Texas Moms of Multiples Convention was in Dallas this year. I attended the convention for the first time while Steve was at home with the Trio. The last day was a family event....here are Brooks, Reese and Sloane posing for a photo!

Sibling love!

Brooks recently took a liking recently to hamburgers! He ate this entire burger!

Potty Piggy Banks

We are in the process of potty training Sloane and Brooks. Sadly, Brooks does not show much interested but Sloane is making progress. Steve thought of the idea of "potty" piggy banks.
If they go number 2 in the potty....money in the bank!
The first day we tried this, Brooks, Reese and Sloane took their piggy banks to bed.
I capture Brooks asleep in the chair with his piggy... The "potty" piggy banks!

Ennis Bluebonnet Festival

This past weekend, we traveled to Ennis, Texas for a family photo shoot followed by a visit to the annual Bluebonnet Festival. The shoot was Friday afternoon, so we decided to spend the night in a hotel with Brooks, Reese and Sloane. It sounded like a good idea at the time...little did we know what the night had in store for us! First, the Trio (along with Mommy and Daddy) are used to sleeping with a humidifier on for noise. Guess what we forgot at home?? Second, Brooks, Reese and Sloane sleep in toddler beds at home so we just placed the mattress on the floor for their bed. Bad idea!! The three of them were bouncing from mattress to box spring until almost 11:00 that night! Needless to say, none of us slept much.

Here is a picture of the 5 of us before the night in the hotel...
