1st week of Kindergarten

I truly understand the phrase "where did the time go?" This past week, Brooks, Reese and Sloane started Kindergarten in our new city.  I can't believe my babies are already going to school!
I had hoped to place each of them in a separate classroom, but our new school only had 2 Kindergarten classes.  Sloane is in a class all by herself, and Brooks and Reese are in a class together.

Sloane with Mrs Miller at Meet the Teacher

Reese and Brooks with Mrs Taylor at Meet the Teacher
This year, Brooks, Reese and Sloane attend full day Kindergarten and even ride a bus to school!  They also have their own "big kid" locker

Brooks, Reese and Sloane were so excited on the 1st day of school! While they were all smiles and laughter, I was sad on the inside.  I had to fight not to cry in front of them!

New Kindergarten backpacks!

My babies are all grown up!

Our new house on the 1st day of school...it was a beautiful morning...perfect!

The neighborhood Kindergartners at our bus stop....7 total this year!

Brooks was so excited!  He almost got on the bus without even giving me a hug goodbye!  My big independent boy....I had to run over and hug him at the bus door!

Reese getting on the bus for school!  At least she did give me a hug goodbye...so did Sloane!  My sweet girls!

My neighbors....also Kindergarten Moms on our street!  We successfully placed our babies on the school bus!

So sweet seeing your pictures of your kids 1st week of Kindergarten. Must be a really small school with only 2 Kindergarten classes....

Sky is in just one elementary school in Denton, and there are 7 1st grade classes, and they all have 20+ students in each class. But I do love that her school is an IB school!
