Happy 2nd Birthday!

It is hard to believe that Brooks, Reese and Sloane are now 2 years old! Where did the time go? The trio had a birthday party this year with 20 of their friends! Yes, 20 toddlers! Here is Reese.....notice the last bite of cupcake along with the empty bag of Goldfish crackers.

Sloane loved her cupcake so much that she had icing all inside of her nose!

Brooks LOVES music.

Candace's 40th birthday

Well, I could not stop it from happening....I am officially 40 years old! (On December 29)
It was a good day....Steve gave me the "day off" to myself. I enjoyed a morning at the gym, followed by breakfast at home and then off to the nail salon. My day ended with a massage just before leaving for dinner.
Steve arranged for some friends of mine to meet us at a local Mexican restaurant. They made me wear this sombrero and dance with a salt and pepper shaker. Oh, they LOUDLY announced to the entire restaurant that I was 40 years old. It was hard to swallow, hearing it out loud. :) All in all, one of the best birthdays yet!

She was super fussy that day and it was not until I picked her up and loved on her that she settled on my shoulder. Betsy captured this photo while I was trying to calm Reese....such a loving moment. So please, pass this on to your friends....vote for picture number 6!

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day 2008

Well, Brooks, Reese and Sloane enjoyed their 2nd Christmas. On Christmas Eve, we took the trio to eat pizza.....Brooks loved it and the girls were not sure what to think. Since we were recovering from RSV, we did not want to take them to church and risk more infection. I love this picture of Reese. The girls got dress up shoes for Christmas. She looks like a model with her hair over one eye...so cute!

My amazing husband...another wonderful holiday together.....

23 months, holidays and RSV

I have not been able to post for awhile...so much has been happening! Brooks, Reese and Sloane turned 23 months on December 10. That day, I brought them home from Mother's Day Out...they all had a horrible cough. On the morning of December 11, I took them to the doctor...all three of them had RSV! This is the first season we have not received the shots to help keep children from getting RSV. So, I had to stay home with the three of them for about 9 days....giving breathing treatments 3 times a day. Steve would come home and take over after work....he is such an amazing father! Well, we finally got to leave...just in time to enjoy this holiday play date at a neighbor's house.
Here are Brooks and Sloane...admiring the tree. Sloane found a candy cane!

Reese was Miss Attitude that day.....

Brooks LOVES to color!

Here we are on our way to the play date in our choo choo wagon!

Mother of Multiples child holiday party

Brooks, Reese & Sloane were too young last year to enjoy any holiday parties, so we were excited this year to attend my local mother of multiples child party. The trio had a blast...bounce house...coloring and Santa! Here is Reese with the cutest smile on her face. I think she had a good time!

Sloane was working on a "master piece"....

Brooks will actually now say "cheese" if you point a camera at him! :)

Sloane...hmmm...wonder what she is up to now!

Reese found a candy cane!

Brooks loves to color....

The trio ALL sitting at the coloring table. This is a rare photo!

Our first family picture with Santa! Brooks, Reese & Sloane were not afraid but they DID want to run!

We love shoes!

Brooks, Reese and Sloane have now taken an interest in wearing our shoes. If we take off of our shoes and leave them on the floor....you better believe someone is going to be wearing them soon. We had some friends over who have twins...Brooks decided to wear one of the twins' shoes on one foot, and one of the adult shoes on the other foot: Sloane also got in on the action!

Thanksgiving 2008

We hosted dinner at our house this Thanksgiving. It is quite challenging cooking a turkey with three toddlers running around! Steve and I played tag team between the children and the food...the dinner was a success! This is the 1st picture of our entire family since Brooks, Reese and Sloane were born.... Sloane wearing her hat she made at Mother's Day Out.

Our attempt of getting a picture of our three....they were not in a happy mood: L-R: Sloane, Brooks, and Reese

Birthday party for our twin friends

Our friends, Kaden and Kole, had their 2nd birthday at My Gym. We had a blast! Here are Reese and Sloane...enjoying the bubbles. Sloane found a BIG bubble!

Brooks would not let go of the soccer ball and basketball during the entire party...

The loved the trampoline! I think they will get one for their birthday in January.

Reese and Sloane loved the slide

TCU Little Horned Frogs

Well, sadly TCU lost this past week. But, my little horned frogs will hopefully bring back the wining streak! Here is Miss Reese....smiling! She was in a good mood on this day... My girls....Reese and Sloane..

My boy, Brooks....with Mommy in the background...he he he

Reese again.....she is finally keeping bows in her hair! Thank goodness because when I found out I was pregnant with 2 girls I bought about 20 hair bows!
