July 4th weekend!

Well, we had a full July 4th weekend...parties...fireworks...cook outs and more! It began Friday with fireworks at the Prieto's House....followed by our neighborhood parade on Saturday morning...then a birthday party for a friend who turned 1...and a pool party...finally a cook out at home!

We were on the news!

Just a quick post.....our family was on the local news last night! There is a consignment store near our home where I often shop for clothes and toys for the trio.
Well, they called us and asked if we wanted to be filmed....so we dressed the trio and went to shop!

What a weekend!

Saturday night after Steve's birthday, we went to watch fireworks.....here's Sloane with our friend Tina. She is the mommy to our twin baby friends: Preslee and Beckett.

What an amazing weekend....Steve's birthday was on Friday. Then Saturday, we spent the day in the sun at our friend's pool.

Later that night, we took Brooks, Reese and Sloane to an early July 4th celebration at a local park. They had food, live music and fireworks! Here are Reese and Brooks running around before the fireworks show.

We did not leave the park until 10:45 p.m.! Our children were troopers....no one was fussy and no one fell asleep on the 30 minute drive home! We had to give them a quick bath before bed....so it was after midnight when the trio went to sleep. Needless to say, the entire family slept until 10:00 a.m. the next day! Steve and I have not done that in 2 1/2 years.....he he he!

Steve's Birthday!

Steve's 38th birthday was on June 26th. (yes, he is younger than me...)
I arranged for some of our friends to meet up for dinner to surprise him.....

Party with Gymbo the Clown!

Our local Gymboree Play and Music moved to a nice new location so the had parties for all the children. They even hired a "live Gymbo the Clown". Here is Sloane...giving him a hug. Brooks loved the clown too....

Bath time with Sloane

Last night, Sloane was the last one in the bath tub. She kept saying "Mommy, more bubbles please"...I could not resist so I filled the tub up with bubbles. I showed her how to make a "bubble beard"...

Then I decided (since I was in the tub too) to turn on the jets.....she loved it! The bubbles became so big that she was covered....again I was in the tub with her.....she did not want to get out....screaming no Mommy...bubbles. Finally when she was dressed and I was getting her toothbrush she heard the drain in the tub and said "Bye bye bubbles"....so cute!

Father's Day Weekend

Well, it was another eventful weekend.....Saturday morning began with "Donuts of Dads"...followed by a birthday party for some of our 3 year old twin friends. Steve with Miss Reese.....I love this father and daughter picture.

After bath time that night......

Sunday morning, we all went to church and then out to lunch. That night, our church had a family event at a local splash park. At first, Steve and I had to take turns going down the slide with Brooks, Reese and Sloane. Eventually, they wanted to do it all by themselves.
