Life is an adventure...

Our lives have been a whirlwind over the past 6 weeks, thus I have not had time to update our family blog!  Brooks, Reese and Sloane finished Kindergarten, then soccer and baseball season ended as well as the girls' dance recital and their last Daisy meeting of the year.  Then we packed up for our vacation to the beach.

Things have been crazy but I wouldn't have it any other way!

A day in Chicago

Since we moved to Chicagoland, our family has not has many opportunities to spend time in the city.  

So we took advantage one beautiful Saturday to visit the Chicago Children's Museum and walk around Navy Pier.

Kindergarten field trip to Green Meadows Petting Farm

I am so fortunate to have the opportunity to stay at home this year while Brooks, Reese and Sloane are in Kindergarten.  I enjoy volunteering in their classrooms and working with all of the children.  It makes me miss the days when I was a kindergarten teacher and an Assistant Principal.

Recently, I joined the Trio on a field trip to the Green Meadows petting farm.

The entire day was filled with activities from riding a horse to milking a cow.  The Trio also had the opportunity to hold many animals.  It was an amazing experience for them and I was happy I could join in the fun!
