Notes from Colorado...

Well, we have been in Colorado for 2 days now and have already acquired many new memories. First, the trio LOVES the slide at the playground. Once the fear of the height and climbing was conquered, we could not stop the three of them from climbing up and sliding down! The best part was the hair sticking up on their heads from the static electricity.

Brooks, Reese and Sloane have also had several nature walks. They are learning about plants, flowers and rocks...oh yeah, and sticks! Sloane spoke the word "flower"...we were so happy!

Tonight, we took the trio to a village and then out to dinner. While playing, Sloane got her first splinter. It was huge! Steve had to really squeeze to get the splinter out...she did not even cry! She is a tough girl. :)

Afterwards, we went on a nice walk and found a running river. Steve taught Brooks, Reese and Sloane how to throw rocks into the river. They loved it! We also took a nice family picture...I will post on a later date when we return.

This trip has been wonderful and we are looking forward to many more adventures with the trio.
