4 year check-up

The morning before I took Brooks, Reese and Sloane to their 4 year check-up, Brooks decided he wanted to wear his Iron Man costume to school. I tried to convince him to wear his "regular clothes' but he would not have it...
We were running late for school so instead of fighting him I just put on his shoes and put him in the car.
When I picked the trio up from school, he was STILL wearing the costume!
That afternoon, we went to the pediatrician for the 4 year check-up. Brooks (aka Iron Man), Reese and Sloane were excited and anxious to find out how much they weighed and how tall they were since last year. Little did they know that they would also receive 4 shots each at this appointment. My anxiety about the doctor visit was at an all time high by the time we entered the doctor's office.
Here are the 4 years stats:

Brooks: 39 inches tall and 32 pounds
Reese: 41 3/4 inches tall and 40 pounds
Sloane: 41 inches tall and 40 pounds

Needless to say, the end of the appointment was very stressful and unpleasant. Sloane was by far the bravest of the trio. She cried for maybe 2 minutes. Reese cried for quite awhile and even hugged me and said "Mommy why did you let them give me shots". This pulled at my heart strings and made me cry too! Brooks was still screaming when we got back into the car.
By the time we return back at home, Brooks had fallen asleep...still wearing his Iron Man costume:
Sloane and Reese decided to pose for a picture with their brother...
Finally some smiles (notice the band aid on Sloane's leg)

That night, Brooks had painstakingly arranged all of his toys on his night stand and in his bed...
Very nice and organized...just like his parents!
