Before our moved to Illinois, I wanted to ensure that the transition would be easy for Brooks, Reese and Sloane. Back in Texas they were involved in many activities, so it was my goal for the three of them to have the same opportunities in our new city.
Brooks, Reese and Sloane have been playing soccer since they were 3 years old (although when they were 3 it was more like picking grass and watching butterflies).
Soccer is huge here and luckily we were able to join teams before our move. It is amazing what a difference a year can make...we realized quickly the Brooks, Reese and Sloane are becoming more aggressive and active with their sports!

Each team is assigned a color and the girls have to choose and vote on a name. Reese, Sloane and I thought of the name "Black Beauties"....luckily the name won the vote!

Reese & Sloane have been taking dance since they were 3 years old. Needless to say, they were excited on their 1st day of dance class. The girls are taking ballet and tap again this year.
