This year, Brooks, Reese and Sloane's Spring Break was the last week of March. Since the weather has been cold for a very long time, we decide to take a trip home to Texas for some sun and fun with friends.
Reese really wanted to get her ears pierced so while we were in Dallas we made a trip to the Sweet and Sassy store.

We were surprised that Sloane decided she wanted her ears pierced after she watched Reese cry and complain that "it hurt"

That afternoon, we visited with Brooks, Reese & Sloane's preschool teacher, Mrs Puglia. The Trio loves her and they have missed her since our move to Illinois.
During the week, I went to see my Chiropractor and old high school friend. He brings his dog to the office every day. The Trio loves playing with Kizmet!

Each spring, it was a family tradition to take photos with the state flower...Texas Bluebonnets!
It was a little early for Bluebonnets season but we had to take a few photos while we were in town...

The weekend before Spring Break, we celebrated St Patrick's Day with our friends who also moved from Texas. It was the 1st indoor St Patrick's Day party...so different from living in Texas!
