23 months, holidays and RSV

I have not been able to post for awhile...so much has been happening! Brooks, Reese and Sloane turned 23 months on December 10. That day, I brought them home from Mother's Day Out...they all had a horrible cough. On the morning of December 11, I took them to the doctor...all three of them had RSV! This is the first season we have not received the shots to help keep children from getting RSV. So, I had to stay home with the three of them for about 9 days....giving breathing treatments 3 times a day. Steve would come home and take over after work....he is such an amazing father! Well, we finally got to leave...just in time to enjoy this holiday play date at a neighbor's house.
Here are Brooks and Sloane...admiring the tree. Sloane found a candy cane!

Reese was Miss Attitude that day.....

Brooks LOVES to color!

Here we are on our way to the play date in our choo choo wagon!

Mother of Multiples child holiday party

Brooks, Reese & Sloane were too young last year to enjoy any holiday parties, so we were excited this year to attend my local mother of multiples child party. The trio had a blast...bounce house...coloring and Santa! Here is Reese with the cutest smile on her face. I think she had a good time!
Sloane was working on a "master piece"....

Brooks will actually now say "cheese" if you point a camera at him! :)

Sloane...hmmm...wonder what she is up to now!

Reese found a candy cane!

Brooks loves to color....

The trio ALL sitting at the coloring table. This is a rare photo!

Our first family picture with Santa! Brooks, Reese & Sloane were not afraid but they DID want to run!

We love shoes!

Brooks, Reese and Sloane have now taken an interest in wearing our shoes. If we take off of our shoes and leave them on the floor....you better believe someone is going to be wearing them soon. We had some friends over who have twins...Brooks decided to wear one of the twins' shoes on one foot, and one of the adult shoes on the other foot: Sloane also got in on the action!

Thanksgiving 2008

We hosted dinner at our house this Thanksgiving. It is quite challenging cooking a turkey with three toddlers running around! Steve and I played tag team between the children and the food...the dinner was a success! This is the 1st picture of our entire family since Brooks, Reese and Sloane were born.... Sloane wearing her hat she made at Mother's Day Out.

Brooks and his hat....
Our attempt of getting a picture of our three....they were not in a happy mood: L-R: Sloane, Brooks, and Reese
Still not happy.....

Birthday party for our twin friends

Our friends, Kaden and Kole, had their 2nd birthday at My Gym. We had a blast! Here are Reese and Sloane...enjoying the bubbles. Sloane found a BIG bubble!

Brooks would not let go of the soccer ball and basketball during the entire party...
The loved the trampoline! I think they will get one for their birthday in January.

Reese and Sloane loved the slide

Halloween 2008

Well, another Halloween has come and gone...we had so much fun with the trio in October! Steve and I also like to dress up. I am not sure why, but we did not think to match the kiddos....
Here we are as a caveman and cave woman... On our way to a costume party!

Here is Sloane...one of our pirate princesses...

Brooks, the handsome pirate!

Reese, our other pirate princess...
Ah yes, another attempt at a group photo! L-R: Reese, Brooks and Sloane. The each had a cute pirate hat but they were NOT keep them on!

First pumpkin carving...

Well, we carved out first pumpkin as a family...actually, Daddy carved it! After the emptying the inside of the pumpkin, it was time for a bath. Brooks decided he wanted to try on Daddy's shoes...isn't he cute? Here is our finished Jack-O-Lantern!

Reese like patting the pumpkin....

Sloane is checking out the pumpkin seeds....

Brooks is helping Daddy with the top....notice Reese in the background...getting ready to unroll the toilet paper! Ugh!

We made the mistake of carving the pumpkin in our bathroom...a place where the trio never goes. They were more interested in the bathroom than the pumpkin....he he he. Here they are from L-R: Brooks, Reese and Sloane...with her blond hair!

Pumpkin Patch

This was our 1st year to attend the pumpkin patch. Last year, Brooks, Reese and Sloane were too young and we had to be cautious taking them out during RSV season.
Here is Reese running at the pumpkin patch. She was not really in the mood to stop for pictures.
Brooks (Mommy's Boy) was eating a snack when I snapped this picture.

Our family....it is impossible to get everyone to look at the camera. There's always next year! :)

Sloane...she LOVED the pumpkin patch and explored the entire time. We could not keep her still....she was curious about the pumpkins, gourds and the hay.

This group shot is a little better...from left to right: Sloane, Daddy, Reese, Mommy and Brooks.
We had a wonderful time...beautiful weather...and both grandmas (Mimi and Yaya) where able to come with us to enjoy the day!
