We began the day at Navy Pier. It was cloudy in the morning so we did not realize that the trio needed sunblock. Reese has a little red nose by the end of the day...luckily we kept Sloane covered or she would have been red as well.

This is Michigan Avenue. We were not able to walk along the water because there were not any elevators. So we decided to look from above instead of carrying strollers and children up and down several steps!
After a morning on Navy Pier, we decided it was time for some Chicago pizza! My pizza was awesome! The only negative was that it took 35 minutes to cook! Not good when you have 3 two year olds! Well, we made it and everyone enjoyed their pizza!

Several friends have told me about Garrett Popcorn so I decided to try it out! "The Mix" was awesome (cheese and caramel together) and I am not officially addicted to it! Thanks goodness they have a website!
As we were walking along, we noticed a crowd outside one of the T.V. news stations. They were broadcasting live so we watched for a moment. Next thing we knew, the camera was focused on our three children. Nothing like 5 seconds of fame while you are on vacation! This is the local weather man for the station:

There was a "mini" mall along one of the streets where we were walking so we went in to check it out. We found a Lego store! So fun! The trio was very entertained....buidling...throwing Lego pieces....etc! We were suckered in to buying some gifts...even though we have a Lego Store in Dallas! Oh well. :)
For dinner that night, we returned to Navy Pier. After dinner, we let the trio run around before we took the walk back to our hotel. Here are some shots:

The next morning, I awoke to find Brooks in bed with Daddy....so cute!
We had an amazing time in Chicago! I wish we could have stayed another day....maybe next time!
