Halloween weekend...we were busy!

Well, luckily our family was over the flu so we could enjoy the Halloween festivities. Brooks, Reese and Sloane had the opportunity to participate in 2 parties at their preschool since they attend 3 days a week!

Brooks actually allowed a lady to paint his face like a tiger: Reese working on her pumpkin project during the party...

Sloane and her pumpkin...

The finished pumpkins!

Reese and Sloane at party number 2!

Ahh juice boxes! Mommy never lets us have these at home. :)

On Friday, October 30, my local Moms of Multiples group met at a local mall to parade our children in their costumes. Here are Sloane, Reese and Brooks off to march in the parade!

Getting ready to go!

Some of our group...attempting a group photo! :)

Our family...

Steve was able to take the day off, we had a family day. After the parade, we ate lunch and then the trio wanted to go watch the "horses". Here they are at the carousel:

That night, Steve and I were off to a costume party for the "big kids". Here I am with some of my "twin mom" friends: (L-R) Jennifer, Tina, Candace and Toni.

"Octo Mom" and her fertility doctor! Thanks to my friend, Tanya, for the idea! :)

Here I am with girlfriends Casey and Toni. Casey has quads and Toni has twins.

Halloween day, we took Brooks, Reese and Sloane to the Dallas Arboretum for their pumpkins!

Pumpkins.....

Here are the girls yelling "Yea Pumpkins!"

Brooks and the pumpkin house:

On Halloween night, our good friend (and photographer) Betsy, invited us to a party in her neighborhood. They had a sort of "practice: trick-or-treating session before the actual trick-or-treating. Here's Steve with the trio trying to teach them how to put the candy in their bags.

Our first house for trick-or-treating...this man gave out wine to the "big kids"...how cool!
We told him we would come back for seconds! :)

Reese and Sloane caught on pretty quick! I love how Reese is checking out her loot!

More candy!

The weekend concluded on Sunday with a birthday party for some twin friends. Their daddy dressed up like Elmo....so fun!

As you can see in the picture above, Reese was not too sure about Elmo at first but then she warmed up to him...

We had a wonderful first Halloween with Brooks, Reese and Sloane. It is so fun to see them grow and enjoy new experiences for the first time. I can hardly wait for the holidays this year!

The pictures are great! Your costume cracked me up. While it was obviously a very busy weekend, it looks like everyone had a great time.
